According to the college, the free event will be held Friday evening, October 9, from 6:00 to 8:00, throughout Westerman Hall.
Benedictine students and faculty will present games, displays and demonstrations involving biology, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, astronomy, nursing and psychology.
Activities will include jumping pumpkins, ghost bubbles, exploding gummy bears, carnivorous plants and live animals, including snakes, turtles and a fox. Preserved oddities will include a two-headed snake and two-headed pig. New this year are a dissection display and termite trail activity.
Children can also enjoy face painting, mask making, a skeleton and skull matching game, beanbag zombies, popcorn, cupcakes and candy.
Admission is free, but minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Free parking will be available behind Westerman Hall in the Murphy Recreation Center parking lot, with the entrance off Mound Street. Students will be available to direct guests.
