( KNZA)--A Jackson County jury has convicted a Topeka man of multiple child sex crimes.
Jackson County Attorney Bethany Lee says 58-year-old Teddy Moore was convicted Friday of two counts of rape, two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy and four counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
The convictions came after a four-day trial.
Lee says the crimes occurred between 2018 and 2023.
Moore was arrested in May following an investigation by the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
He remains in the Jackson County Jail on a one-million-dollar bond.
Sentencing is scheduled for December 10.
