(KAIR)--Three members of the Kickapoo Tribal Council have begun new terms following an official swearing-in ceremony Tuesday.

The Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas announced Westley Sakter Keo was sworn in as a tribal council member.

Marlena Cisneros Valdivia was sworn in as tribal council treasurer, while Sunny Boado was sworn in as tribal council secretary.

The tribe congratulated the newly elected members as they begin serving the Kickapoo people and expressed support for continued leadership and teamwork during the council’s 2026 and 2027 term.
