(KLZA)-- Auburn City Council member Johnny Curttright is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Nemaha County Court on November 3 at 3 p.m.

During his initial appearance for two counts of falsely swearing to a petition circulator's affidavit, Curttright's attorney requested a preliminary hearing.

The case stems from an effort to gather signatures on a petition to recall Auburn Mayor Chris Erickson.

The charges are Class IV felonies.
