(KNZA)--A second person is facing charges in connection with an arson investigation in Brown County.

Court documents show 40-year-old Faiqu Nawid of Morrill is charged with arson and conspiracy to commit arson.

His co-defendant, 38-year-old Crystal Velasquez, also of Morrill, faces the same charges.

Both were arrested following an October 15th fire at 605 Virginia Street in Morrill. The complaint alleges four fires were set inside the residence, where both defendants lived.

No injuries were reported.

Nawid’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 28th, while Velasquez’s hearing is set for November 6th.

Both remain in the Brown County Jail on $50,000 bond each.
