(KNZA)--A 19-year-old Hiawatha man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for multiple felony child sex offenses.
Court documents show Connor Wenger was handed the sentenceMonday in Brown County District Court on charges of electronic solicitation of a child under 14, aggravated internet trading in child pornography, and sexual exploitation of a child.
Brown County Attorney Kevin Hill says Wenger will also be required to register as a sex offender for life and serve lifetime post-release supervision.
Wenger pleaded no contest to the charges last month. He was originally charged with six felony sex offenses.
Wenger was arrested last October following an investigation by the Hiawatha Police Department and its digital forensics unit.
