(KAIR)--A Tuesday night Atchison wreck left a Topeka woman injured after the vehicle she was driving struck a parked van, setting off a chain-reaction collision involving three parked vehicles.
That's according to a release from Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, who says officers responded shortly after midnight to the 400 block of North 4th Street.
Wilson says a Ford Edge, driven by 22-year-old Nailea Herrera, of Topeka, was northbound on 4th Street when it struck a parked Nissan van.
The impact pushed the van into two other vehicles parked in an adjacent driveway.
Herrera was transported by Atchison County EMS to Amberwell Atchison where she received hospital treatment before being released.
