(KNZA)---A Holton woman is facing felony aggravated assault charges following an incident Tuesday.

Court documents show 41-year-old Heather Kurtz was charged Thursday in Jackson County District Court with two counts of aggravated assault and one misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property.

The charges stem from allegations that Kurtz threatened two people with a rod and damaged property.

Holton Police arrested Kurtz Tuesday evening after responding to an apartment at 100 Southern Heights Drive.

She made her first court appearance Thursday and remains in the Jackson County Jail on a 50-thousand-dollar bond.
