(KLZA)-- Following completion of the counting of provisional ballots and absentees Wednesday afternoon three races in Falls City will be recounted on Friday.

In the Mayors race, Kenny Killingsworth received 714 votes to 708 for Kevin Malone.

In the Ward I Council race Mark Lowe outpolled incumbent Don Ferguson 198 – 197.

In the Ward II Council race, Sean Nolte received 197 votes and Robert Olberding 195.

Under statute, the difference in all three of those races trigger automatic recounts.

Wednesday's vote totals did not change any races in Richardson County.

All results are unofficial until the Canvassing Board meets.
