(KAIR)--There will be no school for Atchison High School students Thursday due to a water main break that has shut off water service to the building.

School officials say the problem was discovered Thursday morning, resulting in the late notice of the cancellation.

Atchison High School staff are asked to work remotely, while staff assigned to multiple buildings should report to their other assigned locations.

City crews are on-site working to repair the water main.
