(KTNC) - Falls City’s annual end-of-summer celebration is rapidly approaching. The Cobblestone Festival is scheduled for the weekend of August 23rd through August 25th.
The Cobblestone Parade will be held Saturday, August 24. Organizations planning to be in the parade can pick up entry forms at the Falls City Chamber of Commerce office, or by contacting Lori Gottula at gottula@sentco.net.
Nominations are also being accepted for a parade Grand Marshal. You can nominate someone to lead the parade by sending a letter to the Cobblestone Committee stating why the nominee deserves to be recognized. The grand marshal can be an individual, couple, or group that has gone “above and beyond the call to better the community” through volunteerism, leadership, or donations.
Nomination letters can be mailed to Lori Gottula, 2703 Abbott Street, Falls City, NE 68355. Letters can also be e-mailed to gottula@sentco.net.
