(KLZA)--Bond is now set for the 24-year-old former Peru State College basketball player accused of a three person stabbing Saturday night.
Jeffland Neverson remains in custody in Nemaha County, held on a bond of $15,000.
Formal charges are not yet filed, with his next scheduled appearance in a Nemaha County Courtroom set for October 11.
Neverson was arrested Monday, accused of stabbing three Peru State athletes at a house in Peru.
Authorities have not yet said what led to the altercation that led to the stabbing, which sent the two football players, and a basketball player, to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Nebraska State Patrol is assisting the Nemaha County Sheriff's Office with the ongoing investigation.
