Sheila Mayfield, age 62 0f Auburn, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn.

Survivors include her husband John of Auburn; daughters and sons-in-law Amanda and Jeff Powell of Auburn; Melanie and Dan Duncan of Uncertain, TX; son Alex Mayfield of Auburn; grandchildren Grace and Faith Allgood; Carter and Adalynn Duncan; siblings and spouses Kristi Jokela of Omaha; Tom Wolfe, Jr. of Omaha; Scott and Kira Wolfe of Bellevue; Penny and Dave Salefski of Monticello, IL; Glen and Lily Wolfe of Ladonia, TX; “adopted family” Carmen, Brian, and Rylee of Auburn; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A memorial service will be Saturday, July 23, 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Auburn. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00. Burial of ashes will be at a later date in Sheridan Cemetery.
