Elizabeth “Beth” Lopez, age 70 of Auburn, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at Madonna Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln.

Survivors include her sons Steve Rainey of Red Oak, IA; Chris Rainey and fiancée Melissa Smith of Glenwood, IA; step-daughters Gail Lopez and Laurie Heiserman, both of Lincoln; 2 grandchildren; sisters Susan Peterson and Sally Allgood; brother and sister-in-law Tyler and Georgina Allgood; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be Friday, October 6, 10:30 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial of ashes will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery at Peru. No visitation is planned.

Memorials are suggested to American Legion Post #23 of Auburn.
