Ronald Lee Chandler, 49, of the Kickapoo Reservation, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka, Kansas.
He was born on January 31, 1973 in Pawnee, Oklahoma the son of David Chandler and Vesta Ross.
Ron worked as a mechanic. He was a member of the Kickapoo Tribe.
Survivors include his mother, Vesta Ross of Horton, Kansas; daughter, Madeleine Chandler Smith of Hiawatha, Kansas; brother, Frank Ross of Wichita, Kansas; four sisters, Amy Cohen of Wichita, Kansas, Lisa Dixon of Kansas City, Missouri, Leslie White of Wichita, Kansas and Kristine Center of Horton, Kansas.
Kennekuk Church services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Kickapoo Community Building. Burial will be Friday morning at the Kennekuk Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation.
