Doris Jean (Hess) Farwell, 89 of DuBois, Nebraska passed away on August 15, 2024 at her home,

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne (Perry) Kitchens of Bennington; sons, Gary (Marianne) of DuBois, Randy (Debra) of Lincoln, and Russell (Cody) of DuBois, Doris is also survived by her siblings; Ardyth Farwell, Shirley Fairfield, Carolyn Droge, Donna Lantz, Judith (Don) Albers, Lyle (June) Hess, Diane Droge, and sister-in-law, Kay Farwell. Other survivors include many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Friedens U.C.C. Church, rural Bern, Kansas. Reverend Ken Tubbesing officiating. Visitation on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m., at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska. Interment at Friedens U.C.C.
