Jim is survived by his wife, Marilyn, their children, Melissa Hollenbeck of Lenexa, KS, Brian Buhman of Lawrence, KS, Jessica West of Colorado Springs, CO;

Mass of Christian burial 10;30 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2024 at St. Anthony- Catholic Church, Steinauer, Nebraska, with Father Buhman and Father Michael Christensen officiating. Rosary Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anthony- Catholic Church, Steinauer, Nebraska. Visitation on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Anthony- Catholic Church, Steinauer, Nebraska. Interment at St. Anthony- Catholic Cemetery. Military Honors provided by Nebraska Army National Guard Honor Guard, American Legion Post #168, Pawnee City and VFW Dalton McHugh Post # 5289, Pawnee City.
