Phyllis J. Furnas, age 100 of Auburn, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Angela and Shelby Bennett of Auburn; son Joseph Furnas of Nebraska City; 5 grandchildren; many, many great- and great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 22, 11:00 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Brownville. Visitation will be Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
