Kenneth Kirkendall, 77, of Falls City, NE, passed away January 4, 2026 at Falls City. He was born April 12, 1948 at Falls City to George and Nola (Kreutzer) Kirkendall
He married Dorothy Sells on April 11, 1970 at Rulo, NE and they were later divorced.
Kenneth served in the Nebraska National Guard.
Kenneth was raised at Barada and attended District 21 School and graduated from Falls City High School in 1966. Following graduation, he started working in the oil fields in various states. He returned to the area and helped Thomas Georges and then helped the Haveman Brothers farm. He retired in 2022 due to his health.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Joseph of Marion, IN, Patricia Madsen and her husband Eric of Hiawatha, KS, Jared and his wife Merci of Rulo, NE, John and his wife Regina of Falls City, Victoria Luce and her husband Josh of Manhattan, KS, eighteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
His memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Wayne Shafer officiating. Inurnment will be in Harris Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday 1 hour prior to the service at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
