Itis L. “P-Yet-Taw-Sen” Milton, 84, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on May 22, 2026, in Holton, Kansas.

She was born on August 2, 1941, in Mayetta, Kansas the youngest daughter born to Henry and Ann Rodd McKinney.  After high school she married Kenneth H. Milton Sr., and they were married for 36 years. They had 6 children, Elizabeth, Kenneth Jr., Patricia, William, Lesley and Dennis. Itis was a homemaker and a member of the Kickapoo Tribe. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Milton Sr., daughter, Patricia Scanlon and all 11 of her siblings. 
She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Likens, four sons, Kenneth Jr., William, Les and Dennis Milton, twelve grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, friends and family who loved her. She will be missed dearly. May she rest in peace forever. 
Drum services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Kickapoo Community Building on the Kickapoo Reservation. Burial will be on Wednesday morning at the Kennekuk Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation.
