Iris C. Vice, 92, of Stella, NE, passed away May 27, 2026 at Lincoln, NE. She was born July 24, 1933 at Lincoln to Harold and Opal (Welch) Neff

She married Rolland E. Vice on April 5, 1953 at Stella.

Iris was raised in the Stella area and graduated from Stella High School in 1952. She worked as a telephone operator for the Auburn Telephone Company. When married, the couple established their home in Ft. Dodge, IA and lived there for three years before moving back to Stella where she worked at Lockard’s Grocery Store for ten years. Later she worked in the office of the propane business she and her husband purchased in 1979. She retired in 1994 and later worked part-time at Anderson’s One-Stop for a few years. She was a member of Good News Assembly of God Church at Falls City.

Iris is survived by her husband, Rolland of Stella, children, Terry of Brownville, NE, Lori Landis and her husband Greg of Jamesport, MO, Lisa Schrader of Omaha, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Good News Assembly of God Church with Pastor Leonard Reimers officiating. Interment will be in Harris Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
