Danny Edward Moman, 68, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Arbor Knoll in Horton, Kansas.
He was born on December 24, 1957, in Horton, Kansas the son of Jack Eugene Moman Jr. and Judy Stirton. Danny grew up in Horton and graduated from the Olathe School of the deaf. He worked for Gaskell Machine and Metal out of high school before going to work in the automotive maintenance department for the Kansas Department of Transportation in Horton, Kansas where he worked until he retired.
Danny was known by everyone in Horton and at the Hiawatha Walmart. He was avid KU fan, enjoyed going to Kiss and other rock concerts, taking cousins along. His family always called him Big D.
Survivors include his mother, Judy Holub of Wamego, Kansas, two brothers, Ron Moman of Wamego, Kansas and Randy Moman of Weatherford, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Jack E. Moman, his paternal grandparents, Jack B. and Edna Moman and his maternal grandparents, Frank and Josephine Stirton, and a brother, Doug Moman.
Graveside services are planned for 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Horton City Cemetery.
