Robert L. Kreiensieck, 90, (formerly of Robinson, KS), died July 13, 2026 at his home in St. Paul, MN.
He was born June 30, 1936 at Marysville, KS, second to the oldest of seven children born to Emil and Marie Melchers Kreiensieck. He grew up at Robinson where he graduated Robinson High School with the class of 1954. He served his country with the U.S. Navy from June 1956 until 1976 when he retired as Chief Petty Officer, serving in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. During his deployment during Vietnam, he served on air an aircraft carrier.
Upon returning from his service, Robert worked for the Minnesota State Prison from 1977 until he retired in 1994.
Robert was a member of the Hedrick-Moll Post #148, Robinson American Legion. Robert’s leisure time was spent relaxing, fishing, bowling, golf, visiting with family and friends.
He married Darlene Mae Grose, July 9, 1959. To this union two daughters were born Adrianne and Marylsann. She died February 22, 1986.
Robert married Pamela A. Lindholt, April 4, 1987. They made their home in St. Paul where she survives.
Other survivors include his daughters Adrianne and Marylsann; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren with many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his siblings Norma (Carl) Gerdes of Raleigh, NC, Duane (Nancy) Kreiensieck of Robinson, KS, Jerry (Norma) Kreiensieck of Nevada, MO, and Carol (Alvin) Rieger of Hiawatha.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, older brother Dale, younger brother James (Jimmy).
Services are planned at Wulff Funeral Home, St. Paul, Minnesota, August 13, 2026 with burial and military honors at the National Cemetery, Ft. Snelling, Minnesota.
