David Vernon Jasper, 63 of Everest died peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Saturday July 18, 2026. He was born April 2nd, 1963 in Garden City Kansas to Larry and Virginia Jasper.
David grew up in Dighton, Kansas. He graduated from Dighton High School with the class of 1981. He received his Master’s degree from Emporia State University. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
David worked as Area Director of Mosiac in Garden City for 20 years. He retired from Kanza Mental Health in 2022 following his cancer diagnosis.
David inspired so many lives with his humble compassionate heart. He will be missed but never forgotten.
David was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Barbara Jasper.
He is survived by his wife Lisa of the home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2026 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Horton, Kansas. Interment will follow at the Miller Cemetery in Everest, KS.
A Parish Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2026 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church. Family visitation will follow until 8:30 p.m.
