Larry Handley, 70, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026, at his residence in Fanning, Kansas.
Larry was born on June 12, 1956, in Falls City, Nebraska, to Logan Sr. and E. Marcelle (Alexander) Handley.
Larry graduated from Troy High School in 1974, and he attended one semester at Highland Community College. He was a member of the Troy Christian Church, Troy, Kansas, where he served as an Elder, taught an adult Sunday School class, and served on the Alms Ministry. Larry first worked at John’s Market where he learned his basic meat cutting skills. He worked for various places including Rainbow Bread Company, Affiliated Foods warehouse, Cub Foods, (as a meat smoker), Food 4 Less, Apple Market, and Price Chopper. After retirement, Larry once again worked at John’s Market, Troy, Kansas. Larry loved animals, and he raised Buffalo and Goats. He also enjoyed growing varieties of fruit, smoking and barbequing meat. In all his faults he knew our Lord, truly loved Him and he always knew God’s love and he would want that for everyone.

Larry married Sharon Adams on November 12, 1976, at the St. Charles Catholic Church, Troy, Kansas. She survives of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 14, 2026, at Troy Christian Church, Troy, Kansas.
Visitation: Thursday, August 13, 2026, 6:00 to 8:00 PM, also at Troy Christian Church. Friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Troy, Kansas.
Burial: Fanning Cemetery, Fanning, Kansas.
