Wayne Patrick Hundley, age 56, of Atchison, Kansas, died August 18, 2026, at his home with his family at his side.

Funeral service will be on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will begin at 12 Noon prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Sons of American Legion Post #6 in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

Wayne was born on November 8, 1969, in Atchison, Kansas, the son of Larry Hundley and Linda (Berry) Hundley. He is a graduate of Maur Hill Prep. Wayne spent his career doing some construction work but mostly as a farm hand. He enjoyed a simple life, embracing the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Wayne cherished his friends and their time spent together socializing while playing cards and having a cold drink.  

He is survived by his daughter, Adrianna (Nathan) Bryant; his five grandchildren, Ezekiel, Elliot, Kayslin, Kolsyn and Rylee; his father, Larry Hundley; his sister, Lori (Michael) Sinclair; his niece, Cierra (Brandon) Cummings; two nephews, Eli and Dalton Sinclair; his numerous cousins and his estranged daughter Kylia Hundley. He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Hundley, and all his grandparents.
