Julia Ann Eaton of Humboldt passed away on October 1, 2026. Julia was born on July 22,1948 to Frederick and Marguerite (Estes) Cummings. She married Edward Eaton on March 9th, 1973, at the Verdon Christian Church. He passed away on August 8th, 2023.

 

  Julia was raised in Verdon and graduated from Dawson Verdon High School in 1966. Following graduation, she worked at Ketter Manor until it closed, she then moved to Midland Villa in the Housekeeping Department. She retired from work in 2013.

 

  Julia was a quiet person and loved taking care of her husband and children. She had a love for cleaning. Julia also enjoyed sewing, embroidery, reading and puzzles. While at Colonial Acres she took up Diamond Art and Bingo.

 

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Grant Speece officiating. Interment will be in Verdon Cemetery.

 

Viewing will begin Monday afternoon until 7:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
