Lynn R. Fritz, 70, of Milford, NE (Formerly of Humboldt, NE), passed away October 10, 2026 at Milford. He was born September 24, 1956 at Falls City, NE to Wilbert and Opal (Herr) Fritz

Lynn graduated from Humboldt High School in 1975. He went on to attend Southeast Community College in Milford where he studied Heating and Air Conditioning. He returned to Humboldt where he helped his mother in her dog breeding business and later, he worked part-time as a custodian for the Humboldt Post Office for a number of years before retiring due to his health in 2013. He continued to live in his small house until moving to Milford in 2018. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church at Humboldt.

Lynn is survived by his brother, Larry Fritz and his wife Patricia of Lincoln, NE, sisters, Deborah Phillips and her husband Tom of Leavenworth, KS, Marlee Portrey and her husband Dave of Wallace, ID, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church in Humboldt with Reverend Tim Llewellyn officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
