Mark Beckner, 55, of Falls City, NE, passed away November 1, 2026 at Falls City. He was born June 28, 1971 at Falls City to James and Linda (Gormley) Beckner              

He married Georgia Kendall on September 20, 2003 at Falls City

Marked was raised in Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1990. Following graduation, he worked for Wilde Tool in Hiawatha and then for Earl Miner doing construction work. In 1997 he became employed at the Burlington Norther Sante Fe Railroad in the department of Maintenance of Way. He especially enjoyed traveling. He was a member of the Falls City Elks Lodge and the BSNF Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes Division Union.

Mark is survived by his wife, Georgia of Falls City, children, Josie Weaver and her husband Lee of Falls City, Samantha Kendall of Falls City, Coulton McCann of Hastings, NE, parents, James and Linda of Falls City, brothers, Kenny and his wife Carol of Morrill, KS, Kevin and Victoria of Falls City, grandchildren, Amelia, Madeline, Charlotte and Lucille Weaver, Grayson McCann

His funeral will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Father Jim Meysenburg officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home

Viewing will begin Tuesday afternoon at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to family choice for later designation.
