Nemaha County 4-H Clubs the Pony Express and HHHH 4-H Clubs held a food drive this past Friday. We had approximately 40 kids and 10 adults that went door to door in the north part of Seneca. We also had a few walk-in donations that were brought to the church. We collected 1 1/2 pickup loads of non-perishable food items and donated them to the food pantry. This is the third year for the food drive. It is part of the 4-H initiative 48 hours of 4-H, in which clubs across the country are encouraged to give a total of 48 hours of service to their community during the month of October.
