On World Diabetes Day, Nemaha Valley Community Hospital’s own Becky Bartkoski, RN, BSN and Diabetes Educator spent time with a great group of young students from Axtell Public School talking about Diabetes.
Becky helped the students learn what diabetes is, what signs and symptoms to watch for, and how they can support friends or classmates who are living with it.
We’re grateful for opportunities like this to partner with our local schools and empower kids with knowledge that can make a real difference in someone’s life.
