Many people don’t realize that EMS crews work a 48-hour on / 96-hour off schedule to ensure round-the-clock emergency coverage for our community. During those 48 hours, personnel remain at their stations, ready to respond immediately whenever help is needed — day or night.
While on duty, our crews truly make the stations a second home. They train, eat meals, rest when possible, and respond to emergencies together, all with one shared goal: being there for our community when it matters most.
This model of care wouldn’t be possible without the continued support, trust, and encouragement of the community we serve. Whether it’s a kind word, patience during an emergency response, or ongoing support for local EMS, it all makes a difference.
From all of us at EMS — thank you for standing behind your providers and allowing us to serve you.
