Our Rainbow Communications team had the privilege of hearing from retired Kansas State Trooper @TrooperBenKS, who joined us to talk about the powerful impact of attentiveness—and the real-life consequences of inattentiveness.
Drawing from his years of service, Trooper Ben shared life-saving and life-risking examples that reminded us all how being fully present matters in everything we do. While his stories came from the highway, the message applies everywhere—especially in how we interact with others. You never know when someone simply needs to feel heard, seen, or supported.
We’re grateful to Trooper Ben for taking the time to visit Rainbow and challenge us to be more attentive in our work, our service, and our daily lives. And yes—we hope he enjoyed our employee chili cookoff, too!
Congratulations to Lindsay Matthias from our accounting department, who took home the trophy this year.
Thank you, Trooper Ben, for the reminder that attentiveness can truly make a difference—for ourselves and for others.
