Could cell phones be banned in all Kansas public schools?
HMS students in Mr. Hampl's Grade 7 & 8 Current Events class made Argumentative Posters about the proposed cell phone ban in Kansas schools. Some students had concerns the ban could impact accessories like smartwatches and earbuds. One student noted, "students without phones are more engaged to have more face to face conversations." Another student wrote, "I find the fact you must ban phones sad." The project required practical research and included a lively discussion.
