Seneca Saints Peter and Paul School Honors Christina Lierz

It is a great honor to recognize our kindergarten teacher Christina Lierz as the 2026 Sts. Peter and Paul School Distinguished Graduate.
Christina’s story is deeply rooted in this community. She graduated from Sts. Peter and Paul School in 1985, completing eighth grade right here, where the foundation of faith and learning was first planted. She went on to earn her teaching degree from Kansas State University, and from there devoted her life to Catholic education and service.
Now in her 32nd year of teaching, Christina returned home to Sts. Peter and Paul School—not just as an alumna, but as an educator called to serve. For more than three decades, her classroom has been a place where faith and learning meet. She has helped shape generations of students academically, spiritually, and socially, consistently modeling Catholic values through her patience, compassion, and unwavering dedication.
Christina’s commitment to the mission of Sts. Peter and Paul School is evident in everything she does. She leads with a servant’s heart, always placing the needs of her students and families first, and her faithfulness has left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Beyond her service here, Christina and her husband Mike, are active members of her home parish, Sacred Heart in Sabetha, further reflecting their deep-rooted faith and commitment to the Catholic community.
Through her lifelong dedication, servant leadership, and profound influence on generations of families, Christina Lierz truly exemplifies the ideals of a Distinguished Graduate of Sts. Peter and Paul School.
Congratulations Mrs. Lierz, our 2026 Distinguished Graduate.
