Nemaha Central Elementary, 1st graders had a blast discovering that sound is all around us! Through fun, hands-on experiments with tuning forks, drop chambers, and rubber bands, they learned that sound is created by vibrations that travel in waves. Students also explored how sounds can be pleasant or unpleasant and how pitch can change. So much curiosity, creativity, and learning happening in our classrooms.
