Steven J. Fink, 49, of Mayetta, died Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Manor Care Nursing Home in Topeka.

He was born November 4, 1964 in Topeka, the fifth child of Karl and Ella Hasenbank Fink. He graduated from Holton High School in 1983.

Steven worked at the Jackson County Nursing Home, now Medicalodges JacksonCounty, for twenty years. He retired due to health reasons.

He collected Schleich Toys, books, plants and poultry.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sylvia Spangler, who died in 2009.

Survivors include three sisters, Sonya Bergman and husband Gene, Mayetta, Shelia Murray and husband Marvin, and Schrita Fink, all of Hoyt.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 7th at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in the South DenisonCemetery. Steven will lie in state after 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home where family and friends will meet from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, or Grace Hospice, and may be sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
