Patricia Ann Jarvis, 81, of Hiawatha, died Thursday morning, July 10, 2014, at Maple Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hiawatha.

Pat was born July 17, 1932, at Hiawatha, the only child born to Clarence and Leah Schmidt Jarvis and was a lifelong Hiawatha resident where she attended Hiawatha schools. In later years, she was a care giver several years for her mother until her death. She was also preceded in death by her father. Since making Maple Heights her home since October of 2007, Pat enjoyed playing bingo, and dominoes. She was very social and always interested in her care-givers and friends.

Pat was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Hiawatha.

Survivors include several cousins and her long time friend Mary Ellen Roesch of Hiawatha.

Friends and family will meet at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha by 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, to go in procession to Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha, for graveside services. Reverend Priscilla Davies will officiate.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Maple Heights Activity Fund which may be sent in care of the funeral home, 124 S 7^th St., 66434.
