Roy E. Kirkendall, age 97, of Falls City, NE, died Saturday, July 19, 2014.

He was born June 25, 1917, in Barada, NE.

Survivors include his wife, Merna Kirkendall of Falls Ctiy; sons Ronald (Janyce) Kirkendall of Falls City and Daniel Kirkendall of Branson, MO; daughter Connie (Leonard) Brown of Falls City; Cheryl McCann of Falls City and Richard McCann of Big Lake, MO; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service for Roy Kirkendall will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, at the First Christian Church in Falls City.

Interment will be at Harrs Cemetery in Barada.

Family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Dorr and Clark Funeral Home in Falls City.
