Donald H. Hopp, age 87, of Talmage, NE, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Ambassador Care Facility in Nebraska City. A funeral service for Donald Hopp will be held Friday, August 8, at 10:30 a.m. at the Zion United Church of Christ, 302 Carol Street, Talmage, NE. Burial will follow the service at the St. John’s (McWilliams) Cemetery near Talmage.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 7, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church, with family greeting friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Don is survived by his wife Glenis of Talmage, NE; two sons, Gerald (Kathy) Hopp of Falls City, NE and Mark (Julie) Hoppof Dunbar, NE; grandsons Andrew (Stephanie) Hopp of Gretna, NE; Christopher Hopp of Omaha, NE; Brian (Jamie) Hopp of Lincoln, NE; and David Hopp and Fiancee Ally of Omaha, NE; great grandchildren, Ethan Hopp, Ashleigh Hopp, Alaina Hopp, and Lincoln Hopp, brother-in-law Virgil (Carol) Holtgrewe of Estes Park, CO; their daughters Claire Holtgrewe and Janet Ostrom, and Janet’s children Tyler and Lance Ostrom, other relatives and many friends.
