Renna Rose Gatz, infant daughter of Mallory Pope and Parker Gatz, was born peacefully sleeping at Hiawatha Community Hospital, Tuesday, August 12, 2014.
Other survivors beside the parents include her sister Remy Lorelle Siebenmorgan of the home; maternal grandparents Brad & Lori Swearingen of rural Hiawatha, Wesley Pope of Tonganoxie, KS;  paternal grandparents Peg & Roger Gatz of rural Hiawatha; maternal great-grandparents Rose Pope of Tonganoxie, Gilbert & Elinor Berlin of Kansas City, KS; Gene & Nancy Swearingen of rural Hiawatha; paternal great grandparents include Warren & Gertie Gatz of Hiawatha, Ann Hersh of Red Cloud, NE; an aunt Bryn Swearingen; four uncles: Marshall Swearingen of Hiawatha, Taylor (Jennifer) Gatz of Robinson, Walker (Kyley) Gatz of Hiawatha, Colton Pope of Tonganoxie and a great-uncle Jeff Swearingen of Hiawatha
Services are planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, August 16, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha.  Shane Spangler will officiate.  Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha, with lunch following at the Bethany Church of Christ in Hiawatha.
