James L. Strahm, 84, of Fairview passed away Monday, August 25, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Alvina (Meyer) Strahm; two brothers, Earl Strahm and Harry Strahm and a daughter, Tammy Gabrielson. Survivors include his wife, Ada Strahm of Fairview; a daughter, Jane Strahm of Fairview; a grandson, James Gabrielson of Wamego and a great granddaughter, Hailey Gabrielson.

Cremation is planned by the family with a memorial service to be held at a later date. Popkess Mortuary in Sabetha is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be left to the James L.
