Albert Lee Jones, age 78, of Mound City, Missouri, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014.

A memorial service for Albert Jones of Mound City will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Pettijohn and Crawford Family Funeral Service of Mound City. Inurnment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Pettijohn and Crawford Family Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.

Survivors include Albert's wife, Mary Catherine (Dill) Jones; sons, Troy Jones of St. Joseph, Missouri, and David (Krisan) Pendleton of McMinnville, Oregon; daughters, Angela Neff of Columbus, Ohio, Elizabeth Garvin of Wayne, Nebraska, and Gayle Webb of Versailles, Missouri; four grandchildren; brothers, John Eugene "Gene" (Lynn) Jones and Don Jones; and sister, Nancy (Mike) Thomsen.
