Barbara Bailey, age 74, of Chillicothe, MO, and formerly of Mound City, died Wednesday, September 24, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Barbara graduated from Holt County RII School in Mound City in 1957. She owned and operated Barbara's Fabric Shop in Mound City, where she lived for 35 years.

A funeral service will be held at the Highview Baptist Church in Chillicothe at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1.

Family visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe after noon on Tuesday. Burial will be at the Benton Cemetery of Mound City at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Survivors include Barbara's husband, Roger Bailey; sons James (April) Nauman of Chillicothe, Allan (Linda) Nauman of Craig, MO, and Mark (Cheryl) Bailey of Overland Park, KS; daughters Staci Jo Nauman of Chillicothe and Kim (Tim) Blankenship of Desoto, KS; adopted son Jeff Pearcy of Chillicothe; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
