John Huey, age 63 of Nemaha, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 at his home in Nemaha.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Karen (Palmerton) Huey; their sons Matt and his son Gavin of Auburn, Stacey of Auburn, LCPL Tyler and Colby Huey of 29 Palms, CA; sisters Linda McMann of Auburn, Paula and husband Gary Hays of Shubert; brothers Jim and wife Linda Huey of Evansdale, GA, Rick Huey of Nemaha; his father Clyde Huey of Nemaha; two very special people Amy Smith of Tarkio, MO, Lance Hays of Shubert; nieces and nephews; and many more family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 4 PM Saturday, December 6, 2014 at T.J.’s Tavern in Brownville. Burial of ashes will be held at a later date in the Nemaha Cemetery at Nemaha.

Memorials are suggested to family choice.
