Martin E. Kelsay, age 64 of rural Stella, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn. He was born January 25, 1950 at Sabetha, KS and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife Dot of rural Stella; sons and daughters-in-law Joel and Trisha Kelsay of Auburn; Andrew and Tiffany Kelsay of Junction city, KS; daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Mike Gerdes of Auburn; grandchildren Megan Gerdes, Dustin Gerdes, Alex Gonsalves, Garrett Kelsay, Gracelyn Kelsay; sister and brother-in-law Connie and Jim Merrill of Conroy, TX; brothers and sisters-in-law Dan Kelsay of Fremont; Steve and Jackie Kelsay of Auburn; Jim and Shirley Kelsay of Falls City; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be Wednesday, December 17, 10:30 a.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn. Visitation will be Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends 6:00 to 8:00. Martin’s body will be cremated following the service, and scattering of ashes will be at a later date.

Military Honors provided by American Legion Post #330 of Johnson.
