Calvin Nott, 60, of rural Soldier, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at his home.

He was born May 11, 1954 in Sabetha, the son of Bill and Leah Lamberson Nott. He graduated from Holton High School in 1972.

Calvin had worked for the Simons Roofing Company of Netawaka, and was a farmer and a stockman.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Leah Nott, Soldier; a step-son, Kenny Clark, Holton; a step-daughter, Melissa Jarboe, Topeka; and many cousins.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Monday, May 4th at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton.  Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. Monday until service time.  Burial will follow in the Olive Hill Cemetery.  Calvin will lie in state after 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.  On-line condolences may be made at chapeloaksfuneralhome.com
