Edwin J. Amrein, 90, died Tuesday July 28, 2015 at his home.

Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, August 3, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Benedict’s Church with Abbot Barnabas Senecal, OSB as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  A parish rosary will be recited on Sunday, August 2nd at 2:00 P.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 4:00 P.M.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Mount St. Scholastica, St. Benedict’s Abbey, St. Benedict School Endowment or Mt. Edwin was born February 21, 1925 in Madison, Nebraska the son of Albert J. and Mary Barbara Deiter Amrein.
