Ryan Thomas Scott, 36, of Wamego, KS died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015 in Topeka from a motorcycle accident on U.S Hwy 24.

Funeral services will be 11:00am on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at the Becker Dyer Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Robinson officiating. The body will be cremated following the service and private family burial will follow in the Sumner Cemetery at a later date.  The family will receive friend s from 6:00 to 8:30 pm on Thursday, Sept. 10th, 2015 at the Becker Dyer Stanton Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions are suggested to his children’s educational fund ( Ryan T. Ryan was born on April 24, 1979 in Atchison, Kansas the son of Tom and Janie (DePietro) Scott. He graduated from Mexico High School, Mexico, NY and attended college at Radford College, Virginia and Morrisville College in New York.  Ryan worked as a foreman and superintendant for Kolde Construction Company, Manhattan, KS. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. Ryan was previously married to Rebecca Lira, Auburn, KS.

Survivors include two daughters, Tomasa Rochelle Scott, and Samantha Anne Scott, both of Auburn, KS, his father and mother, Thomas Scott, Topeka, KS and Janie Scott, Auburn, KS, three brothers, Gregory Scott, Ozawkie, KS, Gary Bouck, Wamego, KS, and Robert Scott, Plano, TX, a sister, Rochelle Thompson, Topeka, KS., eleven aunts and uncles, eleven nieces and nephews and thirty-seven cousins and fiancée , Loni Johnson, Lawrence, KS.
