Joyce Elaine Gonzales, 64 of Muscotah, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at her home.

She was born on January 6, 1951 in Horton, Kansas the daughter of Eugene and Luella Brown Beach. Joyce worked as a painter and hanging wallpaper. She was a member of PETA, Humane Society of the United States and WAR.

Survivors include her father, Gene Beach of Muscotah, Kansas; two daughters, Melissa Razo of Atchison, Kansas and Arlie Schmitter of Topeka, Kansas; three sons, Travis Smith of Muscotah, Kansas, Dylan Smith of Topeka, Kansas and Lennon Barber of Muscotah, Kansas; fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services on Thursday.
